Review of the agrometeorological situation of April 9, 2020
Lack of precipitation has been observed in the republic for almost a month, in combination with low relative humidity and contrast temperatures it leads to loss of soil moisture. Areas with poor moisture of the upper 10-cm soil layer have increased in recent days. Sufficient humidification is still preserved in most of the country, which allows carrying out the whole range of spring field work. Soil temperature has increased, but at the end of this week, soil temperature will again drop. Significant precipitation in the republic is not expected in the near future, which will lead to a further decrease of soil moisture reserves.
