Review of the agrometeorological situation of February 12, 2020
Wintering of agricultural crops is going under satisfactory agrometeorological conditions. Cold snap, which was observed in the first ten days of February, was not a threat to winter crops. The minimum soil temperature at the depth of the tillering site of winter crops and the root neck of perennial grasses did not fall up to dangerous values.
There is no snow cover in the fields according to the latest observational data.
The depth of soil freezing over most of the county is small., The soil froze slightly more partly in the east of the country at the end of the first decade of February.
Agrometeorological conditions for wintering of crops will not change significantly in the coming days. Low night temperatures, that could be dangerous for winter crops, are not expected.
