Overview of hydrological situation of December 5, 2019
Within the previous period (November 30 – December 4) the destruction of ice formations was observed on rivers.
As at December 5 slush ice runs and shores are observed on the Sozh, on the Dnieper, on the section Zhlobin-Loyev, on the Berezina on the section Borisov-Berezino, some of their tributaries and individual tributaries of Zapadnaya Dvina, on Chigirinsky reservoir, on the Braslav and Naroch.
Thin ice cover in places with wormwood is observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Surazh, the Dnieper tributary of Ivnya-Bond River, the Sozh tributary of the Besed, Krasnaya Sloboda reservoir and Chervonoye lake.
It is dangerous to go out on the ice.
Fluctuations in water levels with daily intensity of 1-17 cm are observed on rivers.
In the coming days fluctuations in water levels will stay the same, the destruction of ice formations on water bodies will continue.
