Overview of hydrological situation of July 10, 2020
Over the past period (July 7-9) decrease of water levels was observed on major rivers. As a result water levels dropped below the limit marking shipping on the Dnieper near Rechitsa.
Decrease of water levels and its smooth course prevails on rivers. Increase of water levels (1-11 cm per day) is observed on separate sections of the Zapadnaya Dvina, of the Neman, of the Dnieper, of the Sozh and The Pripyat.
Unfavorable conditions for the work of river transport are observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk, on the Neman near Grodno, on the Dnieper near Mogilev, on the Zhlobin near Rechitsa, on the Sozh near Krichev and Slavgorod.
Water temperature in rivers and reservoirs went down and ranges from +19 to +22°С; in reservoirs from +14 +22°С in river basins of Viliya, Neman and Berezina rivers. Water temperatures ranges from +17 to +24°С in river basins of the Zapadnaya Dvina, of the Dnieper, of the Sozh, of the Pripyat and of the Zapadnaya Dvina.
In the coming days on separate sections insignificant increase of water levels will be observed.
