Overview of hydrological situation of July 15, 2020
Over the past period (June 11-14) fluctuations of water levels were onserved on rivers. Conditions for the work of river transport got better on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk and on the Sozh near Krichev.
At present time increase of water levels (1-17 cm) is observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina on the section Surazh-Polotsk, on the Neman near Stolbtsy, on the Dnieper on the section Orsha-Mogilev, on the Berezina in Bobruisk, on the Sozh near Krichev and also on some of their tributaries and on tributaries of Zapadny Bug and Pripyat. Decrease of water levels and its smooth course is observed on the rest extent of mentioned above rivers, on the Viliya, Pripyat.
Unfavorable conditions for the work of river transport are observed on the Neman near Grodno, on the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and on the Sozh near Slavgorod.
Water temperatures decreased and ranges from 14-22°С in rivers and 18-21°С in reservoirs.
In the coming days decrease of water levels and its smooth course will be observed on most rivers. Water levels will reach the limit marking shipping on the Dnieper near Loev.
