Overview of hydrological situation of November 29, 2019
Within the previous period weather conditions contributed to destruction of ice formations on individual sections of rivers.
As at November 29 ice formations in a form of shore and slush ice run are observed on the Berezina, Zapadnaya Dvina near Surazh, the Dnieper near Orsha and Zhlobin, the Sozh on the section Slavgorod-Gomel, some of their tributaries, separate tributaries of the Pripyat and Zapadnyy Bug.
Fluctuations in water levels with daily intensity of 1-13 cm are observed on rivers.
In the coming days water levels will rise on most rivers as a result of precipitation and increase in air temperature, destruction of ice formations will continue.
