Overview of hydrological situation of October 15, 2020
During the past period (10-14 October), there was an increase in the water levels of the rivers due to precipitation, resulting in improved shipping conditions the Sozh near Krichev.
As of October 15, water levels in the country’s rivers continued to rise almost everywhere, with daily intensity of between 1-13 cm.
Unfavorable conditions for the operation of river transport persist on the Neman near Grodno, on the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, the Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, on the Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
The water temperature in reservoirs is 13-16°С, and 6.8-15°C in rivers.
In the nearest five-day period, there will experience fluctuations in the water levels on the rivers with a tendency to increase, as a result of which the water level on the Sozh near Krichev will reach the limit of navigation. The water temperature in rivers and reservoirs will decrease.
