Overview of hydrological situation of October 5, 2020

 
Precipitation has contributed to a slowdown in the decline in water levels in rivers of Belarus. At present, the rivers have an even course of water levels and a small (1-5 cm per day) decline.
Unfavorable conditions for the operation of river transport persist on the Neman near Grodno, on the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, on the Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, on the Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
The water temperature has not changed significantly and it is of 13-16°C in reservoirs, in the rivers of Sozh basins is 7.4-14°C, Western Dvina, Viliya and Berezina is 11-14°C, Neman, Western Bug, Dnieper and Pripyat is
12-16°C.
In the coming days, fluctuations in water levels will be observed on the rivers.
