Overview of hydrological situation of September 25, 2019
Within the previous period (September 21-24), fluctuation of water levels with the tendency to decrease are observed on the rivers with the result that water level was below the mark that limits shipping on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk.
As at September 25, fluctuations of water levels with the intensity 1-15 cm per day are observed on the rivers.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport remain on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk, on the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Loyev and Rechitsa, the Berezina near Bobruysk and Svetlogorsk and on the Sozh near Krichev, Gomel and Slavgorod.
Water temperature has decreased and now it ranges from 3,8°С to 15°С in the rivers and water bodies.
In the coming days, decrease of water levels and its even running will be observed on the rivers. Water temperature will be decreasing.
