Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (13 June 2019 - 19 June 2019)

State institution «Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring» informs about the excess of quality standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from 13 to 19 June 2019.
In the air of Zhlobin (Prigorodnaya street), average daily concentration of PP-2,5 exceeded quality standard by 1,6 on June, 13. The east wind of 1-3 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from +20,9°С to +32,4°С, relative humidity – 37% to 79%. Average daily concentration of PP-2,5 was 1,5 MPC on June, 14. The south-east wind and the south-west wind of 1-3 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from +20,2°С to +30,8°С, relative humidity – 43% to 83%. Average daily concentration of PP-2,5 was 1,2 MPC on June, 15. The west wind and the north-west wind of 2-3 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from +17,8°С to +29,2°С, relative humidity – 28% to 90%.
In the air of Pinsk, there was an exceedance of quality standards on carbolic acid at 13:00 (during sampling) by 1,3 on June, 17. The north-west wind of 3 m/s prevailed, air temperature was +20,7°С, relative humidity – 84%.
Due to increased temperature, increase of air contamination level with formaldehyde is still observed in many cities of Belarus.
In the air of Grodno, maximum concentration of formaldehyde was 1,9 MPC (June 18) in the area of Industrialnaya street, 1,4 MPC (June 13) – in the area of Leninskiy Komsomol avenue, 1,5 (June 18) – in the area of Gorodnichanskaya street.
In the air  of Mogilev, maximum concentrations of formaldehyde ranged from 1,5 to 1,7 MPC (on June 13, 15, 17) in the area of Pervomayskaya street. There were cases of insignificant (by 1,1) exceedances of quality standards on formaldehyde in the area of Cheluskintsev and Movchanskiy streets.
In the air of Bobruysk, maximum concentrations of formaldehyde were 1,5 MPC in the area of Lynkov and Minskaya streets on June, 13.
In the air of Orsha, there were insignificant (by 1,1) exceedances of quality standards on formaldehyde in the area of Lenin and Pakgauznaya streets.
In the air of Mozyr, maximum concentration of formaldehyde was 1,2 MPC in the area of Pritytskiy street on June, 17.
In the air of Novopolotsk, maximum concentrations of formaldehyde were 1,3 MPC (June 19) and 1,2 MPC (June 19 and 20) in the area of 135 and 158 Molodezhnaya street respectively.
In the air of Brest, maximum concentrations of formaldehyde were 1,7 MPC (June 17) in the area of 17th September and Y.Kupala streets.
In the air of Gomel, maximum concentrations of formaldehyde was 1,3 MPC (June 14) in the area of Ogarenko street; 1,2 MPC (June 14) – in the area of Kurchatov street; 1,1 MPC (June 14) – in the area of Kurchatov street.
In the air of Svetlogorsk (Pervomayskiy microdistrict), maximum concentrations of formaldehyde was 1,3 MPC (June 13).
In the air of Pinsk, maximum concentrations of formaldehyde was 1,5 MPC (June 14) in the area of Krasnoarmeyskaya street; 1,2 MPC (June 13) – in the area of Tsentralnaya street; 1,1 MPC (June 14) – in the area of Zavalnaya street.
