Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (11 April 2019 - 17 April 2019)

 State institution «Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring» informs about the excess of quality standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from 11 to 17 April 2019.

In the air of Zhlobin (Prigorodnaya street), there was an exceedance of quality standards on PP-2,5 by 1,3 on April, 11. The north wind of 1-2 m/s prevailed as well as the wind of various directions, windless conditions, the soft north-west wind, air temperature ranged from +3,4°С to +12,2°С, relative humidity – from 34% to 65%. Average daily concentration of PP-2,5 was 1,4 MPC on April, 12, 13 and 17. The north wind of 1-2 m/s prevailed on April, 12, air temperature ranged from +3,0°С to +11,8°С, relative humidity – from 41% to 59%. The north wind of 1-3 m/s prevailed on April, 13, air temperature ranged from +0,5°С to +9,7°С, relative humidity – from 33% to 69%. The north-east wind, the east wind of 1-4 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from +5,3°С to +15,7°С, relative humidity – from 27% to 60%. There was an exceedance of quality standards on PP-2,5 by 1,7 on April, 14. The north wind and the north-east wind of 1-3 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from -0,3°С to +8,7°С, relative humidity – from 32% to 67%.

In the air of Brest (17th September street), there was a short-term exceedance of quality standards on nitrogen dioxide by 1,2 on April, 12 (at 19:00 during sampling). The north-east wind of 3 m/s prevailed, air temperature was +7,4°С, relative humidity – 47%.

In the air of Vitebsk (Chkalov street), there was a small (by 1,1) exceedance of quality standards on PP-10 on April, 12. The north wind of 3-4 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from -2,7°С to +6,4°С, relative humidity – from 42% to 80%. Average daily concentration of PP-10 was 1,5 MPC on April, 14. The north wind and the north-east wind of 1-4 m/s prevailed, windless conditions, the wind of various directions, air temperature ranged from -1,9°С to +5,7°С, relative humidity – from 41% to 74%.

In the air of Minsk (Heroes of 120th Division street), average daily concentration of PP-2,5 was 1,4 MPC on April, 17. The north-east wind and the east wind of 1-4 m/s prevailed, air temperature ranged from +1,7°С to +15,8°С, relative humidity – from 30% to 82%.
