Overview of agrometeorological situation of April 2, 2021
The very warm weather observed in the last days of March promoted active drying out and warming of the soil, and the resumption of the growing season of winter crops. Areas with moderate moisture in the topsoil have expanded not only in the southern part of the republic, but also in the western and central regions. In the northeastern half of the territory of Belarus, the topsoil remained mostly highly and excessively moistened.
The resumption of vegetation began in winter crops. In the near future, due to the cold snap, the growing season of winter crops will be inactive.
