Overview of agrometeorological situation of April 4, 2024
In the near future, due to the cold snap, agrometeorological conditions will worsen. The soil temperature will drop, the top layer will freeze during the night hours, and snow cover will temporarily form. Cold weather with precipitation will restrain spring sowing and delay the emergence of spring cropsand the development of winter crops. The regrowth of perennial grasses will stop. Due to the low nighttime temperatures there may be a risk of crop damage in some places. In the far south of the country, negative temperatures are dangerous for early stone crops that have begun to bloom.
