Overview of agrometeorological situation of December 2, 2020
At the end of autumn, in most of the territory of Belarus, the moisture reserves in the 1-meter horizon of the soil under winter crops and in plowing were close to the average long-term indicators, in the Western regions and in places in the Southern part of the Republic is somewhat less.Agrometeorological conditions for the beginning of wintering of winter crops are satisfactory. According to the latest observation data, a small snow cover is observed in most of the territory of Belarus; in the southeastern region of the country, it is practically absent.
In the near future, hardening processes will continue in winter crops. Low temperatures that pose a danger to winter crops are not expected.
