Overview of agrometeorological situation of February 23, 2021
In most of the territory of the republic, in the fields with winter crops, a rather high snow cover has been preserved for more than a month. With a slight freezing of the soil under the snow cover, the temperature at the depth of the tillering node of winter crops is kept above optimal values. On individual fields with winter crops, an ice crust ground to the soil is observed.
Under the influence of thaw weather, the snow cover will melt and thicken.
