Overview of agrometeorological situation of June 14, 2022

In the first ten days of June, due to the lack of precipitation over most of the republic, the moisture content in the soil decreased, but on the main massifs it remained sufficient to form the productivity of agricultural crops. Satisfactory and low reserves of productive moisture were noted on light soils in a number of regions of the Gomel and Brest regions, as well as in some areas under winter grains in the south of Vitebsk and in the east of Minsk region.
The rains that have passed and are expected in the near future in many regions of the republic will increase the content of soil moisture, which, combined with the predominance of a moderate temperature regime, will contribute to the formation of the crop of most agricultural crops. However, due to the uneven distribution of precipitation in some areas of the Gomel region, insufficient soil moisture may remain.
