Overview of agrometeorological situation of June 9, 2021
Warm weather and on the main tracts of sufficient moisture reserves in the soil provide good conditions for the growth of vegetative mass and the formation of an ear of grain crops. Almost throughout the entire territory of Belarus, winter grain crops have been heading. In many parts of the country, rye has been in bloom. In places in the southern regions, triticale and wheat began to bloom. By the time winter crops are hatched, the soil moisture reserves are good in most areas. Only according to the data of individual meteorological stations in the west of the Gomel and Brest regions, winter crops experienced a lack of moisture.
In the near future, the expected short-term rains in most of the territory of the republic will maintain sufficient moisture supply for agricultural crops. However, due to the uneven distribution of precipitation on light soils, there may be a lack of moisture in places.
