Overview of agrometeorological situation of March 23, 2021
Cold weather shifts the beginning of spring field work in Belarus to a later date. From time to time, a small snow cover forms on the fields. Under the influence of freezing temperatures in most of the territory of the republic, freezing of the upper soil layer is noted.
Low temperatures dangerous for winter grain crops are not observed. In some areas in the north-east of the republic, where the snow cover has been preserved since winter, partial damping off of winter crops is possible.
