Overview of agrometeorological situation of May 13, 2021
The last week's rains in most of the republic's territory replenished the moisture content in the soil, and in a number of areas where precipitation was most intense, caused waterlogging. The moisture supply of agricultural crops is mostly good. According to the results of the instrumental determination of soil moisture, carried out on May 8, the half-meter layer contains a sufficient amount of productive moisture. In many areas of the Vitebsk region, in some places in the Mogilev and Minsk regions, moisture reserves are increased. In the Gomel region, due to a lack of precipitation in some areas on light soils, satisfactory reserves of productive moisture remained.
