Overview of agrometeorological situation of May 5, 2022
According to the latest observations in the Vitebsk, Mogilev and Gomel regions, the upper 10-cm layer of soils waterlogged after rains has dried up to a moderately wet state. Strong moisture persists only in the far east of the Mogilev region. In places on light soils in the Gomel and Brest regions, the topsoil is slightly moistened.
Agrometeorological conditions in most of the country will allow maintaining a high rate of field agricultural work. Frosts expected in places will pose a danger to flowering fruit crops.
