Overview of agrometeorological situation of November 22, 2023
Tillering was noted in most of the observed fields by the time of the termination of vegetation in winter grain crops. On average, two or three, sometimes four shoots were formed on one plant. Winter crops are in good condition on the main massifs. Due to a decrease in the temperature regime plants undergo hardening.
According to the latest data weak freezing of the upper soil layer is observed in most of the republic – from 1 to 8 cm. Mainly in the south-western and some western regions the soil remains thawed. In places a small snow cover has formed across the country.
In the near future overwintering of winter crops will take place in unstable weather conditions.
