Overview of agrometeorological situation of October 31, 2025
Areas with waterlogged soil have expanded after the past rains. According to the latest visual observation data, in most areas of the northern half of the republic and in some areas in the south of the country, the upper 10-centimeter soil layer is heavily moistened. The conditions for completing the harvesting of late crops and carrying out agrotechnical measures to care for winter crops are not developing in the best way. Moderate soil moisture remains in most of the southern half of Belarus and in the central region, which makes it possible to carry out winter cultivation at a good pace.
Under the influence of warm weather for this time of year, the vegetation of winter crops continues, which has a positive effect on their condition – crops receive additional development.
