Overview of agrometeorological situation of September 12, 2025
According to the results of instrumental determination of soil moisture, productive moisture reserves in the arable horizon under winter crops, as well as in fields intended for winter sowing, are satisfactory in a large part of Belarus, and low in many areas of the southern half of the country. On parched soils, unfavorable conditions develop for processing and sowing, grain germination and the emergence of winter crops. Moisture reserves are still good in most of the central region and in the northeastern part of the republic.
The rains that took place the day before moistened the soil in the western part of the country, which improved the agrometeorological conditions for sowing and further development of winter crops. In the near future, due to the uneven distribution of precipitation in many areas of the eastern half of the republic, the lack of soil moisture may persist.
