Overview of agrometeorological situation of September 18, 2020
Upper 10-centimeter soil layer in most areas is well moistened according to the latest visual observation data that makes it possible to carry out soil cultivation and winter crops sowing. Weak moisture in the upper 10-centimeter soil layer is preserved in places mainly in the southern part of the republic. Meteorological stations noted waterlogging of the topsoil in the north-east of the country after last rains, which in the coming days will complicate crops harvesting and sowing. Agrometeorological situation will be quite favorable for field agricultural work in the greater part of the territory of Belarus.
