Review of the agrometeorological situation of April 7, 2020
According to the latest visual observations the upper 10-centimeter layer of soil is mostly in a moderately wet state. The average temperature of the soil at a depth of 10 cm is from +3 + 5 °С in the north and east of the country and up to +6 + 9 ° С in greater territory. There is a slight wetness of the upper soil layer due to the persistent deficit of precipitation on light soils in the south-east of the republic and in some areas of the Minsk region which make worse the conditions for tillage, grain germination and the appearance of seedlings of early spring crops.
