Review of the agrometeorological situation of December 12, 2019
Agrometeorological conditions for the start of wintering of winter crops are
unsatisfying. Unusually warm weather does not allow winter crops to find a state of deep winter rest. In most of the country snow cover is absent on the fields. The soil is mostly thawed, a slight freezing of the soil is preserved mailnly in the east of the country. In the first decade of December soil temperature at the depth of tillering site of winter cereals and on the root neck of perennial grasses is in the was above optimal value.
Plants lose their winter hardening under the influence of high temperature conditions. Agrometeorological situation will not change significantly in the second decade of December in connection with maintaining warm weather for this period.
