Agrometeorological conditions this week will complicate field agricultural work and sowing of early spring crops due to cooling. Freezing of the upper soil layer is observed in the greater part of the republic due to negative night temperatures.
A deficit of precipitation combined with contrasts of night and daily air temperatures will cause more intense loss of moisture from the soil, especially in the southern part of the country in the near future. Lowering of the air temperature during the night hours to -8 ...- 10 ° С and lower may pose a threat to winter crops, which have a “exit to the tube” phase, damage to winter rape, as the least frost-resistant crop, is not excluded.
