Overview of hydrological situation of April 1, 2022
As of March 31th on the river Western Dvina near the settlement Surazh ice formations are persisted. In the reservation Chigirinskoe, lakes Lukomskoye, Drivyaty and Naroch partial ice formation with polynyas are observed.
On the rivers Western Dvina, Dnieper. Berezina and Sozh increase in water levels with daily intensity 1-29 cm are noted. On the other rivers of the country fluctuations in water levels are noted with the tendency to decrease.
Water levels exceed the water outlet marks on the floodplain on the Sozh near city Slavgorod, it tributaries the river Pronya near the village Letyaga and the river Besed near the settlement Svetilovichy, tributaries of the Pripyat the Styr river near the village of Lopatino, the Sluch near the settlement Lenin and the Ptich near the village of P. Slobodka.
In the coming days, weather conditions will slow down the rise in water levels on the rivers Western Dvina, Dnieper and Sozh, while on the other rivers will mainly be noted a decrease in water levels.
