Overview of hydrological situation of April 11, 2022
As of April 11, on the Zapadnaya Dvina near the settlement Surazh ice drift is observed, due to the opening of the river upstream.
An increase in water levels is noted on the rivers of the Zapadnaya Dvina, Dnieper and Sozh basins with a daily intensity of up to 71 cm, on the rivers of the Neman, the Viliya, the Berezina basins up to 7 cm per day. On the rivers of the Pripyat basin, there is mainly (1-4 cm per day) a decrease in water levels.
The water levels exceed the water outlet marks on the floodplain on the Dnieper near the settlement Loev, the Sozh near the city of Slavgorod, its tributaries the Oster river near the villages of Khodun and the Besed of the settlement Svetilovichi, the tributaries of the Pripyat the Styr river near the village of Lopatino, the Sluch near the settlement Lenin and the Ptich near the village P. Slobodka.
The water temperature in the rivers of the Zapadnaya Dvina and the Viliya basins ranges from 0,8°С to 5,3°С, the Neman, the Zapadnyj Bug, the Dnieper, the Berezina, the Sozh and the Pripyat from 2,6°С to 8,0°С.
In the coming days, the rise in water levels on most of the country's rivers will continue, as a result on the Dnieper near the city Zhlobin and the tributary of the Sozh, the Vihra River near the city Mstislavl, water will come to the floodplain.
