Overview of hydrological situation of April 21, 2022

Over the past day, the water levels exceeded the water outlet marks on the floodplain on the Berezina near the town of Berezino, its tributary the Svisloch river near the village of Terebuty, the Sozh near the city of Gomel and the tributary of the Dnieper, the Ivnya-Bond canal, near the village of Budka.
As of April 21, an increase in water levels with an intensity of up to 62 cm per day is observed in the basins of the Neman, the Viliya, the Dnieper, the Berezina, the Sozh, as well as on most rivers of the Pripyat and the Zapadnyj Bug basins. A drop in water levels is noted only in the Zapadnaya Dvina basin.
The water levels exceed the marks of the water outlet on the floodplain on the Dnieper near the town of Zhlobin and the settlement Loev, its tributary the Ivnya-Bonda canal near the village of Budka, on the Berezina near the city of Berezino, its tributary the Svisloch river near the village of Terebuty, the Sozh in the Krichev-Gomel section, its tributaries the Vihra river near the city of Mstislavl, the Oster near the village of Khodun and the Besed at agr. settlement Svetilovichi, tributaries of the Pripyat the Styr river near the village of Lopatino, the Sluch near the agr. settlement Lenin and the Ptich at the village of P. Slobodka.
The water temperature ranges from 5.2°С to 9.2°С in rivers, from 6.1°С to 7.8°С in reservoirs.
In the coming days, the rise in water levels in most of the country's rivers will continue, as a result of which the water will come to the floodplain on the Viliya near the agr. settlement Steshitsy, the Dnieper near the town of Rechitsa, the Berezina near the town of Borisov, its tributaries, the Bobr river near the village of Kuta and the Sushanka near the village of Susha, the tributary of the Neman, the Shchara river, near the town of Slonim, and the tributary of the Sozh, the Pronya River, near the village of Letyagi.
