Overview of hydrological situation of April 22, 2022
Over the past day, the water levels exceeded the level of water outlet to the floodplain on the tributary of the Berezina, the Sushanka river near the village of Susha and the tributary of the Sozh, the Pronya River, near the village of Letyagi.
As of April 22, an increase in water levels with a daily intensity of up to 43 cm is observed in the basins of the Neman, the Viliya, the Dnieper, the Berezina, the Sozh and the Pripyat. A drop in water levels is noted in the basins of the Zapadnaya Dvina and the Zapadnyj Bug.
The water levels exceed the marks of the water outlet on the floodplain on the Dnieper near the town of Zhlobin and the settlement Loev, its tributary the Ivnya-Bonda canal near the village of Budka, on the Berezina near the city of Berezino, its tributaries the Svisloch river near the village of Terebuty and Sushanka near the village of Susha, the Sozh in the Krichev-Gomel section, its tributaries the Vihra river near the city of Mstislavl, the Oster near the village of Khodun, the Pronya near the village of Letyagi and the Besed near the agr. settlement Svetilovichi, tributaries of the Pripyat the Styr river near the village of Lopatino, the Sluch near the agr. settlement Lenin and the Ptich at the village of P. Slobodka.
On the tributary of the Sozh, the Pronya river, near the village of Letyagi, the water level is close to a dangerous high mark, 17 cm are left before it is reached, and there is an increase in the water level with a daily intensity of 29 cm.
The water temperature ranges from 5.3°С to 8.8°С in rivers and from 6.0°С to 8.2°С in reservoirs.
In the coming days, the country's rivers will be dominated by an increase in water levels, as a result of which the water will come to the floodplain on the Neman near the agr. settlement Belitsa, a tributary of the Dnieper, the Drut river, near the village of Gorodishche and a tributary of the Pripyat, the Ubort river, the village of Krasnoberezhye. On the Pronya river near the village of Letyagi, the water level will reach a dangerously high level, at which flooding of coastal areas was previously noted.
