Overview of hydrological situation of April 25, 2022

As of April 25, an increase in water levels with a daily intensity of up to 37 cm is observed in the basins of the Neman, Viliya, Dnieper, Berezina, Sozh and Pripyat, as well as on the Western Dvina near the city of Verkhnedvinsk and its tributaries. A drop in water levels is noted throughout the rest of the Zapadnaya Dvina and in the Zapadny Bug basin.

The water is located on the floodplain on the Neman near the settlement Belitsa, Viliya near the village of Steshitsy, the Dnieper near the city of Zhlobin, the city of Rechitsa and the town of Loev, its tributaries the Drut River near the village of Gorodishche and the Ivnya-Bonda Canal near the village of Budka, on the Berezina near the city of Berezino, its tributaries the rivers Bobr near the village of Kuta, Svisloch near the village of Terebuty and Sushanka near the village of Susha, Sozh on section Krichev - Gomel, its tributaries the rivers Vihra near the town of Mstislavl, Oster near the village of Khodun, Pronya near the village of Letyaga, Besed near the settlement Svetilovichi and Iput near the city of Dobrush, tributaries of the Pripyat rivers Styr near the village of Lopatino, Tsna near the village of Dyatlovichi, Sluch near the settlement Lenin, Harvest near the village of Krasnoberezhye and Ptich near the village of P. Slobodka.

On the tributary of the Sozh, the Pronya River near the village of Letyaga, the water level is 30 cm higher than the dangerous high mark, and there is an increase in the water level with a daily intensity of 12 cm.

The water temperature in rivers and reservoirs ranges from 6,0°С to 10°С.

In the coming days, the rise in water levels on the rivers of the country will continue, as a result of which, on the Berezina near the towns of Borisov and Svetlogorsk, a tributary of the Pripyat, the Sluch River near the village of Klepchany, the water will come to the floodplain.
