Overview of hydrological situation of August 25, 2021
As of August 25, on the rivers of the Brest and Gomel regions, as a result of precipitation, water levels increase with a daily intensity of 1-9 cm. On the rivers of the rest of the country, fluctuations in water levels with a downward trend are observed. On the tributary of the Western Bug, the Lesnaya River near the town of Kamenets, the water level exceeds the mark of water outlet to the floodplain.
Unfavorable conditions for the operation of river transport are noted on the Western Dvina near Vitebsk, Neman near Grodno, Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, Sozhe near the city of Krichev, the city of Slavgorod and the city of Gomel. The water temperature in rivers is 12-21°C, in water bodies 17-21°C. In the coming days, the rivers of the country will be dominated by an increase in water levels.
