In the past period (August 21-24), on the Dnieper near Rechitsa and Loev, water levels dropped below the marks limiting navigation.
As of August 25, a decrease in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-10 cm is observed in the Berezina, the Sozh, the Pripyat, the greater part of the Western Dvina, the Neman, the Vilia and the Dnieper rivers.
At the mouth of the Neman river Ross near Studenets water level exceeds the water outlet mark on the floodplain.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport are observed on the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Rechitsa, Zhlobin, Loev, the Berezina near Bobruisk, the Sozh near Krichev and Slavgorod.
The water temperature has dropped and ranges from 12°C to 19°C in rivers and from 16°C to 19°C in reservoirs.
By the end of this week, a decrease in water levels will prevail on the rivers, and the water temperature will decrease.
