Overview of hydrological situation of August 31, 2021
As of August 31, almost everywhere on the country's rivers, there is an increase in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-16 cm, due to precipitation. On the tributary of the Western Bug, the Lesnaya River near the town of Kamenets, the water level exceeds the level of water outlet to the floodplain.
Unfavorable conditions for the operation of river transport are noted on the Western Dvina near Vitebsk, Neman near Grodno, Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, Sozhe near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
The water temperature has dropped slightly and is 11-19°C in rivers, 17-20°C in water bodies.
In the coming days, on most rivers, the increase in water levels will continue, the water temperature will drop.
