Overview of hydrological situation of June 20, 2022

In the past period (June 16-19), a decline in water levels prevailed on the rivers, as a result of which water entered the channel on the tributary of the Sozh, the Besed river near the village of Svetilovichi and the tributary of the Pripyat, the Ptich river near the village of Pershaya Slobodka. The water level dropped below the level limiting navigation on the Sozh near the city of Krichev, and the water level reached it on the Berezina near the city of Bobruisk.
As of June 20, the decline in water levels prevails in the country's rivers. An increase in water levels due to precipitation is noted over a greater extent of the Zapadnaya Dvina, the Dnieper in the Orsha-Mogilev section and the Neman near the city of Stolbtsy, the daily growth rate is 1-19 cm.
The water is located on the floodplain on the Iput River, a tributary of the Sozh, near the town of Dobrush.
There are unfavorable conditions for the operation of river transport on the Neman near the city of Grodno, the Dnieper near the city of Mogilev, the Berezina near the city of Bobruisk, the Sozh near the city of Krichev and the city of Slavgorod.
The water temperature in rivers is 16-23°С, in reservoirs – 17-23°С.
In the coming days, fluctuations in water levels will be observed on the rivers; the water will enter the channel on the tributary of the Sozh, the Iput River near the town of Dobrush.
