Overview of hydrological situation of March 30, 2022
As of March 30th on the river Western Dvina near the settlement Surazh ice formations are noted. In the lakes Lukomskoye, Drivyaty and Naroch, ice formation with polynyas are observed, ice melt intensively and goes down to the bottom, on the reservation Chigirinskoe ice shift is noted, that preceded breaking up ice.
On the rivers Western Dvina, Dnieper, Berezina, Sozh and most of its tributaries increase in water levels with daily intensity to 39 cm are noted. On the Neman, Viliya, Western Bug and Pripyat basins fluctuations in water levels are noted with the daily intensity 1-9 cm.
Water levels exceed the water outlet marks on the floodplain on the Dnieper near the settlement Loev, the Sozh near city Slavgorod, tributaries of the Pripyat the Styr river near the village of Lopatino, the Sluch near the settlement Lenin and the Ptich near the village of P. Slobodka.
In the coming days growth in water levels will continue on the rivers of the Western Dvina, Dnieper and Sozh basins, the decrease of the water level will be noted on the rivers of the Neman, Viliya, Western Bug and Pripyat basins.
