Overview of hydrological situation of May 5, 2022
Over the past day, on the Pronya River near the village of Letyaga, the water level dropped below a dangerous high mark, and on the tributary of the Dnieper, the Ivnya-Bond canal near the village of Budka, the water entered the channel.
As of May 5, almost everywhere on the rivers there is a decrease in water levels and their smooth course, the increase in water levels persists only in the lower reaches of the Dnieper, Berezina and Pripyat with a daily intensity of 2-16 cm.
The water is located on the floodplain on the Neman near the town of Stolbtsy and the settlement of Belitsa, the Dnieper in the section Zhlobin - Loev, on the Berezina near the towns of Berezino and the city of Svetlogorsk, its tributary to the Svisloch river near the village of Terebuty, the Sozh in the section Krichev - Gomel, its tributaries the rivers Oster near the village of Khodun, Pronya near the village of Letyaga, Besed near the settlement of Svetilovichi and Iput near the city of Dobrush, tributaries of the Pripyat rivers Styr near the village of Lopatino, Tsna near the village of Dyatlovichi, Sluch near the settlement of Lenin, Ubort near the village of Krasnoberezhye, Ptich near the village of P. Slobodka.
On the Sozh near the city of Gomel, the water level is 75 cm higher than the dangerous high mark, there is a drop in the water level with an intensity of 2 cm per day, on its tributary the Iput River near the town of Dobrush, the water level is 2 cm higher than the dangerous high mark, there is a flat course of the water level.
The water temperature in rivers and reservoirs ranges from 7,0°С to 14°С.
In the coming days, the rivers will mainly experience a drop in water levels, as a result of which the water will enter the channel on the Neman near the town of Stolbtsy, the Sozh near the town of Krichev, its tributary the Pronya River.
