Overview of hydrological situation of November 30, 2022

As of November 30, a thin ice cover with polynyas is observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina near the village of Surazh, its tributary the Polota River near the village of Yankovo, as well as on the reservoirs of Zaslavskoye, Vygonoshchanskoye, Soligorskoye and Krasnaya Sloboda. Landfast ice and new-snow are observed on Vilia at the settlement Mikhalishki, the Dnieper near Orsha, Berezina near Bobruisk, on most of the tributaries of the Zapadnaya Dvina, some tributaries of the Zapadny Bug, Sozh, as well as on the Chigirinskoye reservoir and the lakes Drivyaty, Naroch, Chervonoye.
Throughout the Zapadnaya Dvina, Sozh and Pripyat, there is a small (up to 12 cm per day) increase in water levels. Fluctuations in water levels are observed on the Neman, Vilia, Dnieper and Berezina. 
On the Neman River near Grodno, the Dnieper River near Mogilev and Zhlobin, water levels are below the marks limiting navigation.
In the coming days, the rivers will be marked mainly by a decline in water levels and their smooth course. Ice-forming processes on rivers will intensify.
