Overview of hydrological situation of October 31, 2024
In the past period (October 26-30), fluctuations in water levels were noted on the rivers, conditions for river transport improved on the Dnieper near the town of Loev, and on the Sozh near the town of Krichev, the water level again fell below the level limiting navigation.
As of October 31, fluctuations in water levels with an intensity of 1-13 cm per day are observed on the rivers.
On the Western Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev and Zhlobin, the Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, the Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel, water levels are below the marks limiting navigation.
The water temperature in rivers ranges from 4.0°C to 9.4°C, in reservoirs is from 7.9° C to 10°C.
In the coming days, an increase in water levels will prevail on the rivers, and the water temperature will drop.
