Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (from the 9th to 15th of September, 2021)
The state institution “Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring” informs about exceeding the quality standards for pollutants in the atmospheric air of the cities of the republic for the period from the 9th to 15th of September, 2021.
In the air of Gomel near Barykina st., 319 on September 9, the average daily concentration of solid particles, fractions up to 10 microns in size (hereinafter - PM-10) was 1.4 MAC (weak westerly wind, calm, haze and fog were observed, the air temperature varied from +7.9°C to + 23.1°С, relative humidity - from 41% to 98%); on September 10 - 1.7 MAC (calm prevailed, fog and haze were observed, the air temperature varied in the range from +10.0°С to +23.6°С, relative humidity - from 47% to 96%).
In the air of Zhlobin near Prigorodnaya st., 12 on September 12, the average daily concentration of PM-10 was 1.1 MAC (a weak northwestern wind prevailed, the air temperature varied in the range from +9.4°С to +25.8°С, relative humidity - from 45% to 97%).
In the air of Mogilev in the area of Kashtanovaya st., 5 on September 10 at 13:00, the concentration of nitrogen dioxide was 1.4 MAC (a weak southwestern wind was observed, the air temperature was + 13.8°C, relative humidity - 83%); in the area of Pervomaiskaya st., 10 on September 11 at 13:00, the concentration of nitrogen dioxide was 1.8 MAC (variable wind, calm was observed, the air temperature was + 14.5°C, relative humidity - 81%). In the area of Krupskaya ln., 5 on September 10, the average daily concentration of PM-10 exceeded the MAC standard by 1.1 times (calm, weak southwestern, westerly winds were observed, the air temperature varied from +9.9°С up to +24.8°С, relative humidity - from 41% to 98%); on September 12 - 1.2 times (calm was observed, southwestern wind with a speed of 1-2 m/s, air temperature varied in the range from +10.3°С to +25.0°С, relative humidity - from 35% to 97%).
