According to the results of instrumental determination, the moisture content in the soil in most areas is sufficient for the growth and development of agricultural crops. In some areas, mainly in the northern part of the country, moisture reserves are increased. At the same time, due to the uneven distribution of precipitation, moisture reserves were satisfactory in the southern half of the republic at the time of determining soil moisture, and low in some areas. Recent rains in the southwestern part of Belarus have significantly increased the moisture content in the soil. In the near future, the harvest of agricultural crops will take place against the background of a heterogeneous temperature regime and, in general, good moisture supply. The expected rains will complicate the conditions for harvesting and hay harvesting.
