Overview of agrometeorological situation of June 9, 2026

The heat supply for corn this year is somewhat better than last year. The development of this crop on most areas is ahead of last year's schedule. According to the latest observational data, in the main corn-growing areas, leaf formation is underway, with an average of 5–7 leaves per plant, locally the 3rd leaf, and seedlings are emerging in the latest sowings.
In the near future, conditions for the accumulation of vegetative mass in corn will be more favorable in the eastern and southeastern regions of Belarus, where warmer weather is expected.
