Overview of agrometeorological situation of October 30, 2026

Warm weather for this time of year and good moisture supply have extended the vegetation of winter crops. In most of the observed fields, cereal crops are in the tillering stage. This is the optimal phase for overwintering. In winter rapeseed crops, the formation of the leaf rosette continues.
The upper 10-centimeter soil layer is in a moderately moist state. Agrometeorological conditions are quite favorable for completing harvesting operations and carrying out autumn (fall) tillage. Only in places in the northwest of the Vitebsk region does strong soil moistening persist; here, field work is difficult.
In the near future, due to a decrease in the temperature regime, especially during the night hours, the autumn vegetation of winter crops will slow down.
