The rains that fell the day before moistened the soil unevenly.
According to the latest visual observation data, the upper 10-centimeter soil layer in most regions of the republic is well moistened, which is favorable for its cultivation. In many districts of the Brest region and in places in the eastern part of the country, the upper layer is still poorly moistened or dry. This complicates the implementation of agrotechnical measures for preparing the soil for sowing winter grain crops.
The rains expected in the near future should improve the moisture supply of late crops and the agrometeorological conditions for soil cultivation and sowing of winter crops.
