Over the past period (April 5-9), as a result of negative nighttime air temperatures, short-term ice formations in the form of grease ice were observed on the Narev River, a tributary of the Western Bug at the village Nemerzha.
As of April 10, on the Western Dvina near the towns of Surazh and Polotsk, the Vilia near the agrotown Steshitsy, the Dnieper near the town of Loev, the Berezina near the towns Borisov and Bobruisk, the Sozh on the Slavgorod–Gomel section and on their individual tributaries, as well as on the Pripyat on the Petrikov–Mozyr section and most of its tributaries, there is an increase in water levels with an intensity 1-15 cm per day. In the rest of the above-mentioned rivers, as well as on the rivers of the Neman basin, there is a decrease in water levels with an intensity of 1-8 cm per day.
The water temperature in rivers is 1-8°C, in reservoirs is 3-6°C.
By the end of this week, there will be fluctuations in water levels on rivers, and the water temperature in rivers and reservoirs will gradually increase.
