As of April 13, a rise in water levels with an intensity of 1–4 cm per day is observed along most of the Dnieper River, the Sozh River near Gomel, some of their tributaries and on certain tributaries of the Neman River. On the remaining stretches of the aforementioned rivers, as well as on the Western Dvina, the Viliya, the Berezina and the Pripyat Rivers, a decrease in water levels is occurring, with a daily intensity of up to 24 cm.
Along most of the Dnieper River, certain sections of the Sozh River, some of its tributaries, and on most tributaries of the Pripyat River, water remains in the floodplain.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, flooding of road sections is observed in the Gomel district of Gomel Region.
On the Neman River near Grodno, the water level is below the mark that limits navigation.
Water temperatures range from 4.2°C to 9.0°C in rivers, and from 5.0°C to 7.6°C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, a general decrease in water levels is expected on the rivers, and the depth of floodplain inundation will decrease.
