As of April 6, a decrease in water levels is observed on most rivers, with a daily intensity of 1–13 cm. A rise in water levels with an intensity of 1–4 cm per day is recorded on the Dnipro River, the lower reaches of the Sozh River, some of their tributaries, and on certain tributaries of the Western Dvina and Neman Rivers.
On most rivers of the Dnipro, Sozh and Prypiat basins water remains in the floodplain.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, flooding of bridges and road sections is observed in the Mstislavl District of the Mogilev Region, as well as in the Gomel and Dobrush Districts of the Gomel Region.
On the Neman River near the city of Grodno the water level is below the mark that restricts navigation.
Over the next 24 hours, a predominance of rising water levels is expected on the rivers of the Dnipro and Sozh basins; on the remaining rivers of the country, water levels will mainly decrease.
