In the past period (August 4-9), almost everywhere on the rivers there was an increase in water levels due to precipitation, as a result of which water reached the floodplain on the Pripyat tributary of the Sluch river near the village of Klepchany.
As of August 10, an increase in water levels with an intensity of 1-7 cm per day persists in Vilia, the Neman on the Belitsa – Grodno section, the Dnieper near Zhlobin, Pripyat on the Mozyr – Narovlya section, as well as some small rivers. For the rest of the above-mentioned rivers, as well as on the Zapadnaya Dvina, Berezina and Sozh, there is a decline in water levels and their smooth course, in this regard, conditions for river transport have deteriorated again on the Zapadnaya Dvina near the city of Vitebsk.
Unfavorable conditions for the operation of river transport are observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev and Zhlobin, Berezina near Bobruisk, Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
The water is located on the floodplain on the tributary of the Neman river Ross at village Studenets and a tributary of the Pripyat river Sluch near the village of Klepchany.
The water temperature in rivers ranges from 14°C to 23°C, in reservoirs – from 18°C to 21°C.
In the coming days, the rivers will experience fluctuations in water levels with a tendency to increase.
