As of December 15, on the Neman, the Berezina, the Sozh, the Pripyat, the Western Dvina on the Surazh–Vitebsk section and near Polotsk, the Vilia near Steshitsy, the Dnieper, near the town of Loev, there is an increase in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-17 cm. For the rest of the above-mentioned rivers, there is a decrease in water levels with an intensity of 1-7 cm per day.
In the Vilia at Steshitsy water level exceeds the water outlet mark on the floodplain.
On the Neman River near Grodno, the water level is below the mark limiting navigation.
The water temperature ranges in the basins of the Western Dvina, the Dnieper, the Sozh and the Berezina from 0.1°C to 4.0°C, in the basins of the Neman, the Vilia, the Western Bug and the Pripyat from 1.7°C to 5.9°C, in reservoirs from 1.2°C to 3.5°C.
In the coming days, most rivers will experience an increase in water levels.
